Amherst Building & Grounds Committee

The Amherst Building and Grounds Committee is comprised of 5-7 community members and 2 School Board members. 

The Committee will monitor and make recommendations regarding facility capital improvement needs in the Amherst School District.  The committee will work closely with the Director of Facilities, Business Administrator and Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent on the following: 

  • Understand the state of buildings and grounds in the Amherst School District relative to life cycle, operation, and function

  • Make recommendations regarding phasing, funding and prioritization of capital maintenance projects
