SAU 39 recognizes its responsibility for providing opportunities to those who seek to become a teacher or work in a specific areas relating to guidance, school psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech language pathology and the like in the field of education. Graduate and undergraduate students gain practical experience in both content and pedagogy through their daily interactions in our interdisciplinary and inclusionary learning environments. All requests for observation hours and/or field experience at the elementary, middle and high school levels will be reviewed for consideration.
