Below are the available openings by school district for the 2026-2027 school year:
Amherst School District (grades K-8): One non-resident opening across all grades.
Mont Vernon School District (grades K-6): One non-resident opening across all grades.
Souhegan Cooperative School District (grades 9-12): Up to 14 non-resident openings (four across grades 9-10 and ten across grades 11-12).
How to apply:
Complete the application for the District where you seek enrollment.
Provide the required academic and attendance records.
Include the required student statement, if applicable.
Include a current IEP or Section 504 Plan, if applicable.
Email the complete application and supporting materials to Chelsea Borden at cborden@sau39.org.

There is no application fee
Applications will be reviewed for eligibility, available capacity, and whether the receiving school can appropriately support the student’s academic needs and educational program. If the number of eligible applicants exceeds available capacity, seats will be awarded through a lottery in accordance with RSA 194-D.
Late applications are placed on the applicable waitlist.
Admission is not guaranteed.
Families are responsible for transportation to and from the receiving school.
Tuition is paid by the student’s district of residence in accordance with New Hampshire law.
Once admitted, a student does not need to reapply in subsequent years unless the student withdraws or is expelled.
All applications for the 2026-2027 school year are due by 4:00 p.m. on August 20, 2026.
