    Open to all students Grades 5-8

    Return completed health form, athletic contract, $75 athletic fee to Coach Wing 

    Practice for all:   Monday, March 25-Friday, March 29,  2:30-3:45

    Parent/Coaches Meeting:  Thursday, March 28 at 4pm, AMS Cafe

    Tryouts will be Monday-Friday, March 25-29 from 2:30pm-4:30pm daily

    Tryouts will alternate between the gym and outside recess area until the fields are available.

    All athletes must return completed health form/athletic contract in order to tryout.

    When rosters are complete, user fee of $75 is due.

    3/18/19:  We are one week out from tryouts and I couldn't be more excited! With the snow on the ground and potential inclement weather, we will be holding tryouts indoors in the gymnasium. Our time slot is 4-6pm. Please bring athletic clothes and sneakers. If you missed sign ups for lacrosse, not a problem, you are still able to come to try out! 
    • Tryouts will be Monday-Friday: 3/25-3/29 from 4-6pm
    • The Athletic Handbook has the Athletic Health form and contract. No one is able to tryout without forms filled
    • Rosters will be announced on Friday evening
    • We will have a team parent meeting the following week to review important dates and details for the upcoming season- TBD
    • Once rosters are complete, all athletes are required to pass in their user fee ($75)
    Important Dates:
    March 25: official start date
    April 8: team pictures for yearbook in the gym right after dismissal
    April 12: Spring sports Dance
    May 6: team pictures out on the SHS Stadium Field
    June 4: Awards Night
    Game Schedule is on the school website, first game April 9
    For tryouts please bring:
    Warm clothing -we will be doing some of our conditioning outdoors
    Bring sneakers
    Mouthguard, stick and goggles are required
    Water or sports drink
    What I am looking for during tryouts:
    Stick work, IQ and skill

    Spring Sports Dance: Friday, April 12 (each team will need at least two chaperones, aside from the coach)

    ALL Athletes

    All students must have an up-to-date physical and a signed Athletic Contract & Emergency Form (contained in the Athletics Handbook) in order to tryout/practice for sports; spring athletes will need to complete a new contract/emergency form. (Physical exams are good for two years from the date of the physical.) 


    Athletic fee: $75
