Book Clubs Continue and new members are always welcome:

The Great Stone Face Reviewers Club is for kids in grades 5 and 6.  We meet on the first Wednesday of each month, and January meeting will be on January 2nd at 6:30pm. Our club reads from a master list of the newest middle-grade fiction and comes to meetings prepared to evaluate these books for possible inclusion on next year's Great Stone Face List. We learn book-review skills, to stand up in front of a group to give our opinions, and we always have a lot of fun!

New This Year—Let’s Get Graphica club for kids who love graphic novels.  For kids in grades 7 and 8.  We’ll be choosing from classic superhero fiction, Japanese manga, and novels in graphic form—club members will read whichever books they like best, and try to convince other members to read what they’re reading! Other activities we will possibly do include:  drawing tutorials, movie-watching, video-reviews for the library website…Let Miss Sarah know if you’re interested! Our January meeting is scheduled for  Wednesday, January 16 at 6:30pm.
