Books Can Take You Anywhere!
    Welcome MVVS Community,

Our library is an essential part of the educational programming at the Mont Vernon Village School. In the library, students can access a wide variety of print and online resources to enrich and expand their learning experience. Students also learn new Technology skills during Library class. Every other week students learn new technology skills using our smart board and our laptops in the Lab. Maker time is also open on Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch recess for students to use legos, ozobots, create art, and learn about new engineering topics from our outstanding community volunteer.
Our library program is integrated with each grade level. Teachers and the library media specialist collaborate to embed information literacy skills in every day work. Students also can check out books for one or two weeks.

Kindergarten and First grade: one book per visit

Second grade: two books per visit

Third through sixth grade: three books per visit

Students always have the opportunity to renew a book and put a book on hold.
The Library is open daily for students to access and check out library resources.
The library hours are 8:30 am to 3:45 pm.
