• Flexible Spending Accounts (also known as FSA's) allows you to pay for qualifying healthcare expenses with pre-tax dollars. Contributions to this account are directly deducted from your paycheck before federal income or Social Security taxes are withheld.
    Qualifying expenses include (but are not limited to) dependent care, orthodontic, vision lenses and frames, co-pays, deductibles, hearing aids, wheelchairs, crutches, ambulance service, etc. For a more detailed list of healthcare eligible/ineligible expenses, please click on the link below.
    IRS regulations stipulate a "use or lose" rule that requires employees to use all of their designated funds during the plan year or forfeit remaining balances.
    Employees who work 25 hours per week or more are eligible to sign up during their new hire orientation and/or during Open Enrollment in the spring for an effective date of July 1st.  Please keep in mind that this is a benefit that must be signed up for every year.
