  • SAU 39 recognizes its responsibility for providing mentorship opportunities for individuals entering the teaching and education profession. Graduate and undergraduate students gain practical experience in both content and pedagogy through their daily interactions in our interdisciplinary and inclusionary learning environments. All requests for student teaching experiences at the elementary and middle levels will be reviewed for consideration.

All requests for internships will be reviewed for consideration.

Student Observation Hours & Field Experience

  • SAU 39 recognizes its responsibility for providing opportunities to those who seek to become a teacher or work in a specific areas relating to guidance, school psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech language pathology and the like in the field of education. Graduate and undergraduate students gain practical experience in both content and pedagogy through their daily interactions in our interdisciplinary and inclusionary learning environments. All requests for observation hours and/or field experience at the elementary, middle and high school levels will be reviewed for consideration.

  • SAU 39 and Souhegan High School recognizes a responsibility for providing mentorship and internship experiences to those pursuing counseling and school psychology in the field of education.  Graduate students gain practical experience in both content and pedagogy through their daily interactions in Souhegan High School’s yearlong interdisciplinary and inclusionary learning environments.  All requests for internships in the area of school counseling, social work and school psychology at the high school level will be reviewed for consideration.
