    Fessenden Team Updates





    Day 1 @ FB

    We arrived around 10am to bright sun. After dorm orientation and meeting their groups, we were off to lunch - salad, chili & chicken fajitas. A short break, lessons - the ABCs of Ecology, some down time and dinner, which was a big hit, pasta, red sauce, bread, salad, and a cookie for dessert. After dinner students spent some time reflecting about the day's lessons in their journals. Then it was off to their night lesson - Marine Lab and Nature at Night. After lessons, we had graham crackers and it was off to get ready for bed and a quick dorm meeting with the AMS staff. All in all, it was a productive day.



    Day 2 @FB


    We woke to the pitter patter of rain drops on the roof.
    Students got ready for morning lesson and were off for breakfast: various cereals, scrambled eggs, and homemade blueberry crumble.
    After a short break, with the skies beginning to clear, students were off on their morning lessons: jetty jaunt and beach and dunes.

    After morning lessons, students returned to campus for some relaxing fun time on the beach and rec fields, and some quiet time in the dorms.
    We were served another fabulous meal in the dining hall. Lunch consisted of salad, clam chowder, chips, and pepperoni and cheese Stromboli.
    Afternoon lessons will be tide pools and salt marsh.

    Day 2-3


    Yesterday's afternoon lessons were rain free and full of fun. Some students went to the tide pools and others went to the salt marsh.

    Last night's dinner was salad, bread, chicken, rice, and zucchini.

    Evening lessons were Town Meeting and Marine Lab.

    We all settled down for a good night's sleep.

    We woke this morning to the howling wind. Today looks like its going to be on the chilly side, but dry.

    Breakfast consisted of various cereals, French toast, and sausage.

    Morning lessons are jetty jaunt and abiotic adventures.

    Today's lunch was salad, soup du jour, chips, and chicken and chees
