Rain Forest Alliance Summit

To culminate the unit, Money Doesn't Grow on Trees, where 7th graders studied Latin America, students participated in a summit. The First Annual Rainforest Alliance Summit offered students a choice on arguing 1 of 4 perspectives regarding Rainforest destruction/preservation. The four perspectives were: Indigenous People, South American Country Governments, Scientists/Environmentalists, and Corporations.
