• Student Council is an organization comprised of student leaders who wish to be actively involved in their school. Elected classroom representatives from the fourth, fifth and sixth grades will meet on a regular basis, during recess/lunchtime, to discuss ideas and plan activities. Members of Student Council will solicit ideas and opinions from their classmates, as well as from students in lower grades, so as to best represent the student population throughout the school.

Students wishing to be elected will demonstrate their interest in running by returning an election form, and by giving a speech in their classroom prior to the election, describing why he or she would be a suitable candidate.

    Expectations:

It is expected that an elected representative to the student council will demonstrate positive leadership ability, work well with others, including peers and faculty/staff, model good citizenship (be on good behavior), and be in good academic standing in all subject areas.
